1-0 - O'Connor is first to a finish, but misses four darts at tops and Nicholson takes out 64 in two darts to lead.
2-0 - Nicholson extends his lead by hitting double 16 at the first time of asking.
3-0 - Nicholson misses double 16 and double eight to move three legs clear, but O'Connor is unable to finish 100 and he returns to hit double four.
4-0 - O'Connor opens with a 180, but misses double seven for an 86 finish and Nicholson pounces on double eight to seal a whitewash win.
Australia 2-0 Republic of Ireland - Republic of Ireland must win Doubles game to force a sudden-death leg to decide the winner.
