Dart Players Getting Boring ? ?

BOBBY GEORGE reckons darts players are getting too BORING!

The BBC pundit believes the £1million prize money now up for grabs is making the current crop of stars too professional.
George, 65, burst on to the oche scene in the late 1970s with his flamboyant gold jewellery, tan, perm and groupies.
But he's worried the new clean-cut characters will ruin the sport.
He said: "The players now just want to practise and not have fun.
"I can understand that because there's so much money up for grabs. But the heart and soul of darts is about having fun. The game must not lose that. I heard the other day about players even calling for a booze ban. That would be stupid.
"Darts and beer go together, it's in our culture. The fans go for a party and the players should as well."
George became a household name after winning The News of the World championship in 1979.
He then went on to lose two world finals and became the first professional exhibition player. But he is now best known for his extrovert darts analysis and oche lingo.
He has just brought out a book 'Scoring For Show, Doubles For Dough' — effectively an Oxford Dictionary for darts.
George may now be best known for his BBC role — but he was a decent player in his time before a BROKEN BACK ended his career.
He added: "I lost to Eric Bristow in my first world final and then went down 6-0 to John Part in my second one. But no one ever mentions that I played that final with a broken back. It was the worst pain of my life. In my quarter-final I jumped up to celebrate winning but landed awkward and snapped my vertabrae.
"I was put in traction by docs and was humiliated when BBC cameras turned up in my ward and my b******s were hanging out.
"I was desperate to play the semi so docs gave me a special corset to wear. But I couldn't take anything to stop the pain. They told me I could end up paralysed if I got p****d!
"I was losing my semi to Magnus Caris 4-0 but came back to win — but Party stuffed me in the final.
"The injury finished me really, I still play a bit. I took on Phil Taylor a couple of years ago and beat him
